// CLOUD / MIGRATION
The migration deal is signed. We execute it.
A lease expires, a compliance clock runs down, a board mandates cloud, and the team that can run a kickoff cannot run a production migration at scale. We deliver the engineering behind the deal, from rehost to mainframe, under your brand.
Plan a migrationWinning the deal and shipping the migration are different muscles.
The wall is always the same: the client has a date, a mandate or an expiring lease, and the partner can present a plan but cannot move a production estate at scale. Application dependencies are the top obstacle for 51% of organisations, and 39% then struggle with cost control once the workloads land. The partners who win the most migration revenue are not the ones with the slickest sales motion; they are the ones with credible engineering delivery standing behind them. We are that capability, under your brand.
What we migrate.
Lift-and-Shift Replication
VM-level replication with AWS MGN and Azure Migrate moves estates with near-zero downtime. The fast path for workloads that need to land before a lease expiry or a compliance deadline.
Database Migration
Homogeneous and heterogeneous moves with AWS DMS and Azure Database Migration Service, up to 90% of schema conversion automated. The engine and the data move together, not in two anxious phases.
Application Modernization
Re-platforming and refactoring with Migration Hub Refactor Spaces, taking the strategic applications to containers, microservices or serverless where the long-term cost and scale actually live.
Mainframe Modernization
COBOL and PL/I to cloud-native with AWS Mainframe Modernization. The workloads most firms assume are stuck on-premises forever finally get a route off the iron.
Wave-Based Execution
Workloads grouped, sequenced and cut over in waves, each with a documented rollback plan defined before a single VM replicates. Replication health is validated before cutover, never after.
FinOps From Day One
Right-sizing planned pre-migration with AWS OLA and Azure cost estimation, commitments modelled before the first workload moves. Governance lands inside the plan, not bolted on after the first bill.
The numbers behind the move.
How the options compare.
What your client gets from an in-house team, a major integrator, or our team under your brand.
Migration, answered straight.
01 What is the difference between lift-and-shift and re-architecting?
Lift-and-shift (rehost) replicates VMs as they are with tools like AWS MGN and Azure Migrate, the fastest path with almost no application changes. Re-architecting refactors for cloud-native patterns (containers, microservices, serverless), more effort up front but better long-term cost and scale. Most engagements use both: rehost the non-critical workloads for speed, re-architect the strategic ones for value.
02 How do you handle application dependencies?
Discovery and dependency mapping are step zero of every migration we run. We combine Azure Migrate appliance-based analysis, AWS Application Discovery Service and manual interviews for complex multi-tier applications. Every dependency group is documented before wave sequencing starts, which is the exact obstacle 51% of organisations name as their biggest.
03 What happens if a migration wave fails?
Every wave carries a documented rollback procedure for its workload group: criteria, steps and timeframes defined before a single VM replicates. We use MGN replication health monitoring and Azure Migrate continuous sync to confirm readiness before cutover, so a wave is only committed once it is proven.
04 Can you migrate VMware workloads affected by the Broadcom changes?
Yes, and it is one of our most active engagement types. We cover Azure VMware Solution for like-for-like moves, AWS Elastic VMware Service, and full replatforming where a client wants to leave VMware entirely. Deep VCF, NSX and Aria knowledge means we read the source environment as well as the destination.
05 How long does a typical migration take?
It tracks the estate. A 50-server lift-and-shift can finish in four to six weeks. A complex move with database migration and application re-platforming usually runs three to six months in organized waves. Every engagement ships a wave-milestone timeline you can put in front of your client with confidence.
06 How does this help us access AWS MAP funding?
Our methodology follows the MAP three-phase model (Assess, Mobilize, Migrate and Modernise) and produces the documentation MAP eligibility requires. MAP customers see roughly 31% average infrastructure savings, so the assessment and the execution effectively fund themselves.
