// CLOUD / READINESS & STRATEGY
Sell the strategy, not just the move.
Partners win cloud deals on the promise of an assessment they often cannot staff. We run the readiness work across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, design the landing zone, and hand you a board-ready strategy. All of it under your brand.
Scope a readiness assessmentA migration without an assessment is a migration that stalls.
Most cloud deals are sold on a strategy nobody has the architects to deliver, so the work starts on a vague slide deck and stops cold when an undiscovered dependency surfaces mid-flight. The numbers are blunt: 62% of migrations fail outright or run far harder than planned, and 47% of the delays trace straight back to legacy dependencies that were never mapped. Run a formal readiness assessment first and success rates rise 2.4x. The step gets skipped because cloud architects are not sitting idle for a four-week engagement. That is the gap we close.
What the assessment delivers.
Tri-Framework Assessment
One engagement, three frameworks: AWS CAF across its six perspectives, Azure CAF across nine stages, and GCP RaMP. Clients on mixed estates stop paying three vendor-aligned firms for three overlapping reports.
Application & Dependency Mapping
Every workload classified, every dependency surfaced before a plan is drawn. The undiscovered legacy link that stalls a migration mid-flight gets found here, not at cutover.
Landing Zone Design
Target-state network topology, identity model and security baseline, deployed with AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zone Accelerator or GCP Cloud Foundation Toolkit. Governed from day one.
Policy-as-Code Governance
Guardrails written as code: AWS Service Control Policies, Azure Policy and Blueprints, GCP Org Policy. Compliance is enforced automatically, not chased manually after go-live.
CFO-Ready Business Case
A three-year TCO model comparing on-premises against cloud, plus the board-level business case your partner presents. The strategy becomes a number, not a directional slide.
Compliance Mapping
Controls mapped against NIS2, DORA and GDPR data residency up front, so the assessment doubles as the evidence pack auditors will ask for later.
Why the assessment pays for itself.
How the options compare.
What your client gets from an in-house team, a major integrator, or our team under your brand.
Readiness, answered straight.
01 What does a cloud readiness assessment actually cover?
A structured read of your client's technical, organisational and financial readiness to move. Application portfolio analysis, dependency mapping, workload classification, a skills gap review and a cost baseline. Typical engagements run two to four weeks depending on the size of the estate and how many frameworks (AWS CAF, Azure CAF, GCP RaMP) are in scope.
02 How does the assessment unlock AWS MAP funding?
The AWS Migration Acceleration Program puts funding credits behind a move, but eligibility is gated on completing an AWS MRA or equivalent readiness assessment. Our methodology produces the vendor-standard deliverables that satisfy that gate, so the consulting work converts directly into a funding accelerator for you.
03 Our client just wants to migrate. Will the assessment slow things down?
Skipping it is the slower path. Organisations that go without a formal assessment carry a 2.4x higher failure rate and average budget overruns near 38%. Two to four weeks up front protects the timeline, and the report is what releases AWS MAP funding and Azure incentives, so it pays for itself.
04 We already run Azure in-house. Why outsource the assessment?
In-house teams tend to produce an informal gap analysis that lacks the framework rigour hyperscaler account teams look for, which is what gates the funding. We cover all three platforms in one engagement, so you do not staff and certify separately for each.
05 Will the client know Belico ran it?
No. Every deliverable, from the readiness report to the architecture blueprint and the cost model, carries your brand alone. We work in your document templates and naming conventions. No Belico marks reach client-facing material.
06 What is in the landing zone deployment?
A governed, policy-compliant foundation stood up before any migration wave: network topology, identity and access model, security baseline and governance guardrails, built with AWS Control Tower, Azure Landing Zone Accelerator or GCP Cloud Foundation Toolkit. Policy-as-code (SCPs, Azure Policy, Org Policy) enforces compliance automatically from the first day.
Tell us what your clients need.
A tri-cloud migration. A 200-site SD-WAN rollout. A security architecture before NIS2 hits. An AI system your client is asking about next quarter. We scope it, staff it, and deliver it under your brand. One conversation tells us if we are the right team.
